Six-pack Solution? A Girdle

Jessica Alba offers this piece of advice for any woman who has just had a child.  Please, like she’s ever worn a girdle a day in her life.

This picture was taken four months after she had given birth to her daughter Honor.  If you look closely enough you can tell that she has nearly returned to her normal body weight. Yet, on People.com Alba claims that the return to her normal body hasn’t occurred.

“I wore a girdle,” the actress, 28, tells the March issue of Elle. “Eight weeks after my girlfriend had her baby, you could see her six-pack. She told me to put an elastic band around my waist – any kind of band or girdle works” People.com

Somehow Alba regained her former physique without stepping foot into the gym. She claims that her initial workouts were so horrible that she hasn’t stepped foot in a gym since.

But, how is it possible to lose the baby weight without the help of physical activity? It isn’t.

  1. Cool. I think the guys in class will love the chance to look at Jessica! But back to journalism for a moment. You know what would have made this go from a very good post to a great post? If you contacted a doctor or fitness coach to get reaction to what Alba was doing. Other people will likely mimic her, is this a safe practice?
